  1. 1. What is PAKT TRAVELLER?

    PAKT JAPAN offers PAKT TRAVELLER TOKYO, a lifestyle solution that provides Frequent Travellers to Tokyo with a ‘capsule wardrobe’ service, powered by its local partner, Warehouse Terrada, Shinagawa, Tokyo. This service allows travellers to leave a suitcase or single items in Tokyo until their next trip to the city. Each item will be digitized and the traveller will have access to a PAKT JAPAN digital wardrobe. Items can be laundered and/or drycleaned. On demand collecton and deliveries are also available.

    Leading hotels including Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, Oakwood Premier and Shangri-la are participating in the BETA trial. Participating hotels will select their Frequent Traveller guests to receive this service on a complimentary basis for 2 months.

  2. 2. How much does it cost to use PAKT services?

    During the BETA trial, BETA GUESTS are offered the service on a complimentary basis. Going forward, PAKT JAPAN plans to charge a monthly subscription fee and an additional Per Use Fee. Comments are welcome from BETA GUESTS.

  3. 3. How do I pay for services such as dry-cleaning and repairs?

    During the BETA test, all services are complimentary for selected BETA GUESTS.

  4. 4. How do I pay for collections/deliveries?

    During the BETA test, all collections/deliveries are complimentary for selected BETA GUESTS.

  5. 5. How are my clothes and other items stored?

    The Warehouse Terrada will store your clothes and personal effects in their state of the art storage facility in Sendai, Japan. Deliveries will be next day. Discussions are ongoing to move the service to a facility in Greater Tokyo.

  6. 6. Can I still access PAKT whilst away from Tokyo?

    Yes, you just log into your account to browse a photo gallery of your stored items. You can book a collection, delivery or make other requests on your selected items with just a click of a button.

  7. 7. How do I make a collection or delivery appointment?

    For the purposes of the PAKT TRAVELLER BETA trial, collection appointments should be made through your participating hotel’s Concierge or other Front office staff. Please make delivery appointments directly on the website.

  8. 8. What is PAKT’s geographical coverage?

    Currently, PAKT TRAVELLER operates in Hong Kong and Tokyo. PAKT’s local partner in Tokyo/Japan is Terrada Soko, Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan

  9. 9. Are the Items I store with PAKT/Terrada insured?

    Yes, during the trial, we will use Terrada and Yamato’s standard insurance coverage. We will adjust these figures if necessary after the BETA trial. Terrada’s insurance covers 10,000 yen per box and in transit,Yamato’s insurance covers up to 300,000 yen. We will adjust these figures if necessary after the BETA tiral and also facilitate itemised all-risks insuranceshould this be required. But in addition, we strongly recommend that our members have a valid home insurance policy and/or international travel insurance policy.
